Leather degreaser

STEP 2

VILOU leather degreaser - for degreasing leather. This is a must, especially before leather repair or leather dyeing!

The VILOU leather degreaser has been developed with its chemical composition for degreasing leather and artificial leather. All leather must be degreased before leather repair or leather dyeing.

Most leather is in constant contact with skin and clothing. Each of these contacts ensures the transfer of light fats and skin sweat, but hair lying on it also has a natural release of fats, which are transferred to the leather surfaces. Skin oils, hair oils and also food fats absorb into the leather over time and oxidize. Typical areas for car leather are steering wheels, armrests and door handles. In the case of furniture leather, these are the armrests and the neckrest area. This deprives the leather of the effect of the tannins, causing it to lose its structure and fall apart. Regular use of the VILOU leather degreaser significantly delays this process in the leather.

Repair areas must be thoroughly degreased with the VILOU leather degreaser before processing with the VILOU leather paint or the VILOU liquid leather . Old grease must be completely removed so that the VILOU leather dye and the VILOU liquid leather can adhere. After degreasing, treat the repair area with the VILOU sanding pad and smooth any protruding edges and breaks. Thoroughly remove the resulting sanding dust with the VILOU leather degreaser .

APPLICATION:

Lightly moisten the VILOU fleece cloth with the VILOU leather degreaser and rub it over the greasy areas. Especially with open leather (suede leather, aniline leather, etc.), you should only rub the VILOU fleece cloth briefly over the leather to avoid edges and stains.

NOTE: After each degreasing, the leather must be finally resealed with the VILOU leather sealant .
