Our origins
The roots of Ledertechnik lie in traditional craftsmanship. As early as 1999, our founder – an experienced tanner – developed the first proprietary formulas for repairing and refreshing the color of automotive and furniture leather.
What began as a specialized solution for professional users has evolved over decades into an internationally deployed system. Today, many trust over 150,000 customers worldwide on products from Ledertechnik – from the discerning end user to the professional company.
A word from the founder
"When I founded Ledertechnik in 1999, my goal was never to sell as many products as possible. It was about solving a problem correctly."
I come from the leather trade. I know how leather is structured, how it ages – and how to preserve it. Early on, I saw how much material, quality, and value is lost through improper care or short-term solutions.
That's why at Ledertechnik we don't develop quick fixes, but systems. Solutions that work reproducibly, take responsibility towards the material and the user, and still impress years later.
Our goal was clear from the start: quality before growth, substance before noise, partnership before mass distribution.
