VILOU Professional · Clearly differentiate color systems
Leather dye for sponge and airbrush or professional spray application?
VILOU clearly separates the two paint systems according to application, structure, and final surface protection. This allows private, experienced, and commercial users to choose the appropriate system without mixing products or work steps.

System 1: Ready-to-use VILOU leather dye
When is System 1 correct?
For suitable, surface-dyed smooth and artificial leathers, when an existing vehicle, furniture or base color is to be used and applied thinly with a sponge or airbrush.
Advantage
No separate professional topcoat is required. The paint is abrasion-resistant once completely dry. Specific preparation still depends on the material, the type of damage, and the product instructions.
System 2: Planned Professional Color System
Cleaning and degreasing
Remove dirt and suitable adhesion-impairing residues in a material-appropriate manner.
Leather primer
Condition the prepared surface for the subsequent application of paint.
Professional leather dye
Build up the tested color tone in several thin layers using an airbrush or paint gun.
Top Coat/Leather Top Coat
Finish the colored surface and the intended gloss level, and achieve the required abrasion resistance in the system.
Not yet available for order: Composition, mixing ratios, occupational safety, drying, and application will only be published with the final product releases. A crosslinking agent will only be offered where it is required for the specific system.
