VILOU liquid leather - for repairing deep scratches, cracks and holes in leather or faux leather
In order to permanently repair damage such as deep scratches, cracks or holes in leather or artificial leather, we have developed VILOU liquid leather . Leather-Doc's liquid leather is user-friendly and can be delivered in any desired color. The VILOU liquid leather can be used immediately after drying and remains flexible.
The VILOU liquid leather is only suitable for damage to leather or artificial leather where there is a need for filling.
Before processing with the VILOU liquid leather , first thoroughly degrease the repair areas with the VILOU leather degreaser . Old grease must be completely removed so that the VILOU liquid leather can adhere. Then smooth any protruding edges and breaks with the included VILOU sanding pad and then thoroughly remove the resulting sanding dust with the VILOU leather degreaser . The VILOU liquid leather always has a smooth and shiny surface after drying. To compensate for differences in gloss at the repair area and thus restore the color of the original leather, use VILOU leather paint .
APPLICATION:
Open the tube and fill the repair areas with the VILOU liquid leather . Using the included VILOU spatula (small), spread the VILOU liquid leather evenly and opaquely. Then let it dry for 1 - 2 hours depending on the filling quantity. Important: for a perfect liquid leather repair, the VILOU liquid leather must be applied in thin layers. Repeat the layer building process until the repair area is smooth and filled.
Important : Do not accelerate each drying phase with a hairdryer or similar, as the VILOU liquid leather must dry completely on its own. The VILOU liquid leather will always have a shiny surface after drying.
Important: the VILOU liquid leather must not be sanded manually after application and the drying phase.
In cases where smoothing of the repair area is required, this can be done with solvent, acetone, nail polish remover, etc. Lightly wet the repair area with solvent. Now this is slightly loosened and can be remodeled and sanded if necessary.
NOTE: To compensate for differences in gloss at the repair area and thus restore the color of the original leather, use VILOU leather dye .
