When there's a hole, leather surface is missing – therefore, simply painting over it or filling it in isn't enough. First, the damaged area must be stabilized from the back. Then, the indentation, color, and protective layer are carefully rebuilt.

Avoid pulling apart loose edges and, until the repair is complete, refrain from sitting on the damaged area.

This procedure is intended for stable, pigmented smooth leather. Do not use it on aniline, nubuck, suede, Alcantara, or flaking synthetic leather without prior testing. Test products in an inconspicuous area first.
Carefully remove dust, dirt, and care product residue. Clean, dry surfaces are essential for the repair materials to adhere properly.
Place the backing material included in the repair kit under the leather. It must support the entire opening without wrinkling. Glue and dry it precisely according to the product instructions.

Allow each layer to dry thoroughly and only build up enough material until the repair is flush with the surrounding area. Thick, protruding layers will make the area more noticeable.
Apply the matching leather dye thinly, blending it softly into the surrounding area. Screen colors alone are not reliable for color selection; always test on the furniture.
