VILOU - Leather cleaner – for thorough and gentle cleaning of leather

Our VILOU leather cleaner has been developed for all smooth leather, especially for use on car and furniture leather, but also for bags, shoes, suitcases, etc.

Leather is constantly exposed to contact with skin, clothing and general environmental influences. The resulting dirt accelerates the aging process of the leather. The VILOU leather cleaner removes such dirt.

During the leather production of automotive and furniture leather, an acidic environment with a PH value of 4.5-5.5 is created for the demanding and extremely long-term use in order to maintain the longevity of the leather. General aging through use, environmental influences and UV exposure shift the PH value upwards. This causes the leather to become unstable, darken and become hard and brittle. Incorrect leather cleaning and leather care products that change the PH value of the acidic environment also damage the leather. PH-neutral leather care products in particular are unsuitable for these special leathers. That's why it's important to clean leather regularly with the right product for your car and furniture leather.

A NOTICE:

Re-acidification when cleaning leather is just as important as re-greasing when caring for leather.

VILOU 's leather cleaning and leather care products have been specially developed for the PH value of car and furniture leather.

APPLICATION:

Dispense the VILOU leather cleaner onto the included VILOU sponge and clean the leather. It is important to ensure that the leather to be cleaned is cleaned in individual areas. The partial areas must not be so large that the VILOU leather cleaner can dry out during the cleaning process. The VILOU leather cleaner dissolves the dirt and brings it to the still damp surface, which is rubbed with the supplied VILOU fleece cloth and the dirt is thus absorbed. If the leather is heavily embossed, you should also use a leather cleaning brush . Depending on the level of soiling, repeat the process until the color identity of the original leather is restored.

A NOTICE:

After cleaning, the leather should always be protected with the VILOU leather sealant and cared for with the VILOU leather protector .
