Cleaning, protection and care for pigmented vehicle leather
Regular cleaning removes dirt and skin oils. Sealant and protector protect and condition the leather according to its condition.
Learn when normal leather care is sufficient, when sealing is advisable, and when color abrasion or other damage already needs to be repaired.
Made in Germany since 1999 · For cars, furniture and professional applications
Skin oils, sweat, dust, clothing, and care product residues accumulate on the leather surface. Steering wheels, seat bolsters, armrests, and other contact surfaces are particularly affected by this.
If dirt is not removed regularly, it can further damage the surface through daily friction. Furthermore, care and protective products should only be applied to clean leather.
Always assess the condition of the leather after a careful cleaning.
| Condition | Recognizable by | Recommended treatment |
|---|---|---|
| Dirty | Dust, stains, skin oils or greasy deposits | Clean appropriately for the material |
| New or well-preserved | Intact color and stable surface | Clean and protect against abrasion and color transfer. |
| Aging or becoming drier | Decreased suppleness and increased light exposure | Clean and treat with protector |
| Color abrasion | Light or scuffed areas of color remain visible after cleaning. | Repairing paint abrasion |
| crack or hole | Open or noticeably deep damage | Repair damage before maintenance |
The products fulfill different tasks and do not replace each other.
