Before any color refresh or dyeing, the leather should be thoroughly degreased with leather degreaser. For scratches, scuffs, and minor fading, the original leather color can be restored with our Audi leather dye. After dyeing, we recommend sealing the leather. Sealing protects against further wear and tear and is comparable to a clear coat as a protective layer.
Our leather dye restores the original color. It is opaque and abrasion-resistant.
We recommend using a spray gun for color changes.
Always test all products on a hidden area first to check for changes or color accuracy!
Application:
1. Leather degreaser
Lightly dampen a clean cloth with the leather degreaser and wipe the greasy areas. Especially with open-pore leathers (suede, aniline leather, etc.), only wipe the leather briefly with the cloth to avoid leaving marks or stains. Not all grease stains can be completely removed. After cleaning with leather degreaser, the leather must be re-protected with leather sealant.
2. Audi leather color
Apply the leather dye for Audi evenly to the affected areas from seam to seam using a sponge or spray gun, and dry with a hairdryer. For small areas, applying the dye only to the affected spot is sufficient. Treat only areas with discoloration. If high coverage is required, apply the leather dye in several thin coats, drying with a hairdryer between coats.
3. Leather sealing
Apply the leather sealant thinly with a soft cloth and allow it to dry without buffing. One application is sufficient. Repeat every 3 months for high-wear areas.
