Porsche leather dye/leather care set specially for Porsche leather & Faux leather.

Porsche leather dye is the ideal solution for concealing scuffs, fading, and minor scratches on leather or synthetic leather. This type of leather repair restores the original Porsche leather color. All our products are developed and manufactured in Germany. For over 20 years, the consistently high quality of our products has been our primary goal. Quality is trust, and trust is our hallmark. We earn this trust from our customers every single day.

Contents:

  • 30ml Porsche leather dye
  • 10ml liquid leather colorless/neutral
  • 1 sanding pad
  • 1 plastic spatula
  • 1 sponge

Before color refreshing, the leather should generally be cleaned with our leather cleaner and degreased with leather degreaser. For scratches, scuffs, and minor fading, the original Porsche leather color can be restored with our leather dye. Deep scratches, cracks, and similar damage can be filled with our liquid leather. After dyeing the leather, we recommend sealing and conditioning it. The sealant protects against further wear and tear, while the conditioner prevents the leather from deteriorating and protects against fading.

Our leather dye restores the original color. It is opaque and abrasion-resistant.

We recommend using a spray gun for color changes.

Always test all products on a hidden area first to check for changes or color accuracy!

Application:

  1. Leather sanding pad

Smooth rough spots, hard and protruding edges, and dry cracks with the sanding pad. Remove sanding dust.

  1. liquid leather

Open the tube and fill the damaged areas with the liquid leather. Spread the liquid leather evenly with a spatula. Then let it dry for 1-2 hours, depending on the amount applied. Repeat the process until the repaired area is as smooth and filled as possible.

For larger areas of damage, it's sometimes not possible to achieve a perfectly smooth and even surface using only filler. Such damaged areas then require further finishing. However, liquid leather cannot be dry-sanded, as this would damage the repaired area.

In cases where smoothing of the repaired area is necessary, this can be done with solvents such as acetone or nail polish remover. The solvent softens the top layer of the repair compound, allowing the surface to be easily reworked. A latex glove can be used; lightly moisten the index finger and smooth the repaired area. Alternatively, the repaired area can be smoothed with a sanding pad. Both methods serve to smooth the repair. Always work carefully and with a small amount of solvent. If too much is used, the repaired area will become blurred. In this way, the repair can be reshaped until the result is satisfactory.

Liquid leather repairs must be color-matched with leather dye to even out any differences in color and sheen. To ensure sufficient coverage, the leather dye should be applied several times, drying with a hairdryer in between coats.Seal the leather the following day. & maintain

  1. Porsche leather color

Apply the Porsche leather dye evenly to the affected areas from seam to seam using a sponge or spray gun, and dry with a hairdryer. For small areas, applying the dye only to the affected area is sufficient. Treat only areas with discoloration. If high coverage is required, apply the dye in several coats, drying with a hairdryer between coats.
