Occurrence and name

Stone grey, or Stone, is documented, among other things, for Mercedes SL R230 Premium and Nappa leather interiors. Names may vary depending on the market and language. Check the model series, year of manufacture, equipment code, and material together.

Mercedes uses natural leather, Nappa, ARTICO, and material combinations. Photos and monitors are not reliable color representations. A protected original area and a completely dry test application are essential.

Quantity orientation

• 30 ml: small abrasion mark
• 50 ml: typical seat cheek
• 100–150 ml: larger seating areas as a guideline

Application

1. Check the material, damage, and color.
2. Clean and dry according to the material specifications.
3. Remove grease and residue.
4. Test covertly.
5. Apply several thin layers.
6. Allow to dry and protect appropriately.

Special features

When treating aged SL leather, take into account patina and possible previous dyeing.

Not suitable

Do not use without testing on Alcantara, microfiber, suede, nubuck, open-pore aniline leather or structurally damaged material.
