Mercedes leather color Macchiato Beige: Safely refresh color wear
Macchiato beige is a light Mercedes interior color where dirt, jeans abrasion and damaged paint layers quickly become visible.
Is macchiato beige the right color?
Macchiato beige can be combined with various upholstery options, including leather, leather/synthetic leather combinations, or ARTICO, depending on the vehicle. The color name alone does not guarantee a match: model, year of manufacture, equipment code, material, age, and gloss level must all be taken into account.
Important: Photos and screens are for guidance only. Always check color and material against vehicle data or a protected original part first.
Leather or ARTICO?
Depending on the model and equipment, Mercedes uses both genuine leather and leatherette, or combinations of materials. Therefore, before cleaning, dyeing, or repairing, determine which surface is actually being treated. Use only a suitable product and test it in an inconspicuous area first.
What quantity is appropriate?
- 30 ml: small abrasions
- 50 ml: typical seat cheek or several areas
- 100–150 ml: larger seating areas as a guideline
- 250 ml: more extensive applications after prior consumption testing

Application
- Determine material, color, and damage.
- Clean and dry the surface according to the material.
- Remove grease and unsuitable care residues.
- Test the color and compatibility discreetly.
- Apply the paint in several thin layers.
- Allow to dry completely and protect any stressed areas appropriately.
Special features of Macchiato Beige
First, thoroughly clean light-colored surfaces using gentle methods. Do not simply cover dark stains with a thick layer of paint; the substrate and color must be correct before painting.
Not suitable
Do not use without testing on Alcantara, microfiber, suede, nubuck, open-pore aniline leather, or structurally damaged surfaces. Open seams and larger holes require a different repair method.
