Which Mercedes models are available in Alpaca Grey?

Alpaca Grey has been documented in Mercedes C-Class, CL, and SLK trim levels since the 2000s. Exact availability varies depending on the model series, model year, market, and material finish. Therefore, the color name alone is not a reliable basis for ordering.

Check color and material

Depending on the model, Mercedes used natural leather, Nappa leather, ARTICO leather, and material combinations. Check the equipment code, protected original area, age, and gloss level together. Photos and monitors are for illustrative purposes only.

Important: First determine the material and color, then test it covertly. A wrong color shade cannot be corrected by applying a thicker coat.

Quantity orientation

  • 30 ml: small abrasions
  • 50 ml: typical seat cheek
  • 100–150 ml: larger seating areas as a guideline

Application

  1. Determine material, color, and damage.
  2. Clean and dry according to the material specifications.
  3. Remove grease and unsuitable residues.
  4. Test compatibility and color in a blind test.
  5. Apply several thin layers.
  6. Allow to dry and protect affected areas appropriately.

Special features

Grey tones react strongly to light and adjacent black components. Assess the dried sample at several points.

Not suitable

Do not use without testing on Alcantara, microfiber, suede, nubuck, open-pore aniline leather or structurally damaged material.
