🛠️ Application: Leather care & Color refresh in 6 steps
This is how professional Leather repair, color refreshment and care – Ideal for car seats, furniture, jackets, shoes, or boat upholstery. Please follow each step carefully for optimal results.
1️⃣ Leather Cleaner – Create a clean base
- Enter the Leather cleaner onto a slightly damp sponge and squeeze it to create cleaning foam.
- Work the foam evenly from seam to seam across the leather surface – do not apply it directly onto the leather.
- Repeat the process if the dirt is very dirty.
- Then remove any dirt and cleaner residue with a damp cloth and allow to dry completely.
2️⃣ Leather sanding pad – smooth out unevenness
- Rough spots, dry edges or protruding leather fibres carefully with the Leather sanding pad smooth.
- Remove the resulting sanding dust with a soft cloth or Leather degreaser remove.
3️⃣ Leather degreaser – improve adhesion
- Lightly dampen a clean cloth with Leather degreaser moisten.
- Thoroughly degrease the cleaned and sanded surfaces.
- This optimally prepares the leather surface for the subsequent dyeing.
4️⃣ Applying leather dye – color refreshment && Repair
- Wear the Leather color Apply a thin and even layer from seam to seam using a sponge or paint sprayer.
- Small scratches or wear and tear can be treated selectively.
- Dry with a hairdryer in between.
- For intensive color refreshment or strong coverage, apply several thin coats.
- Only treat areas where color changes are visible.
5️⃣ Leather sealing – protection against abrasion
- After the paint has dried, Leather sealing Apply thinly with a soft cloth.
- Allow to dry without polishing.
- For heavily used surfaces (e.g. seat, steering wheel), reseal every 3 months.
6️⃣ Leather Protector – Long-term care & Smoothness with UV protection
- The Leather Protector Apply at least 24 hours after color refreshment – the leather must be completely dry.
- Apply a thin layer with a soft cloth and allow to absorb without polishing.
- Protects against UV radiation, drying out and re-contamination.
- In case of heavy use (e.g. heat exposure, direct sunlight) reapply every 3 months.
