🛠️ Leather repair with degreaser, liquid leather, dye & sealing

This guide shows you step by step how to Cleaning, repairing, dyeing and protecting leather surfaces can – ideal for smooth leather on cars, furniture, jackets or shoes.


1️⃣ Leather degreaser – surface preparation

  • A clean cloth lightly with Leather degreaser moisten.
  • Wipe away greasy areas carefully – especially on open-pored leathers such as suede or aniline, only go over them briefly to avoid stains.
  • Some grease stains cannot be completely removed, but the adhesion of subsequent products is improved.

2️⃣ Liquid leather – filling damaged areas & model

Always use solvents sparingly – too much can damage the repair. The area can be reshaped several times until the result is satisfactory.

Color matching: After drying, the repair area must be treated with Leather color They can be adjusted to compensate for differences in color and gloss.

Apply several thin coats, drying with a hairdryer in between. Afterwards, be sure to seal and condition.

  • Apply several thin coats for optimal coverage if needed.

Only treat the areas that have actually changed color – this way the leather look remains natural and authentic.


4️⃣ Leather sealant – protection against abrasion & pollution

  • Leather sealing Apply thinly with a soft cloth.
  • Allow to dry completely without polishing.
  • For ongoing maintenance of heavily used areas, repeat every 3 months.
