Important: Liquid leather is not to be confused with leather dye. The repair compound first fills any perceptible material damage. For the most even repair appearance possible, the area is then treated with a suitable BMW sealant. & MINI leather dye thinly color-matched and sealed.

Repairing BMW leather tears with liquid leather
Carefully remove dirt and care product residue from the repair area.
Thoroughly degrease the damaged area to ensure that grease, care product or silicone residues do not impair the repair.
Carefully prepare any loose or raised areas. The surface should be clean and stable.
Using the supplied wooden spatula, apply the repair compound precisely into the crack, notch or depression and smooth it out thinly.
Allow the repair to dry sufficiently before further processing the surface.
If necessary, gently smooth out any unevenness using the small sanding pad provided. Take care to protect the surrounding original leather.
Then, apply several thin layers of suitable BMW or MINI leather dye to match the color of the repaired area.
Finally, protect the colored surface with a suitable sealant against premature abrasion.
