Is Tartufo the right BMW color?

BMW led Tartufo This includes BMW Individual Merino leather. Depending on the model, year of manufacture, leather type, age, and equipment, shade and gloss level may vary. Color tone rule: Determine the color first, then test it covertly. A thicker layer of paint will not reliably compensate for an incorrect color tone.

How much do you need?

• 30 ml: small abrasions or limited seat bolster
• 50 ml: multiple spots or larger seat bolster
• 100 ml: one seat or several occupied areas
• 150 ml: larger contiguous areas

The coverage depends on the surface, absorbency, color difference, and the number of thin coats applied. Leather dye alone is not sufficient for cracks.

Application in six steps

1. Clean and dry.
2. Remove grease, silicones and residues of care products.
3. Smooth loose edges; repair damage first.
4. Test the color and compatibility discreetly.
5. Apply several thin, even coats.
6. Allow to dry and protect affected areas appropriately.

Suitable – and when not?

For surface-dyed smooth leather and, depending on the product, suitable synthetic leather surfaces. Do not use without testing on suede, Alcantara, open-pore aniline leather, heavily oiled surfaces, open seams, or large holes.

Special features of Tartufo

Premium brown leathers develop a patina. Compare several protected areas and only assess the sample after it has completely dried.
